I see often when an old song comes on how younger people immediately scorn it for being old.  I am here to tell ya, sometimes the old stuff can be of great inspiration.  Peal Jam's "Ten" album was new when I was in High School, and I haven't listened to it in over 10 years.  However, all the work i have been doing lately is a direct result of listening to it again. Just because something is old, doesn't always mean its out of date.

I've been spending a LOT of time with my paints lately, so much so that my digital skills have degraded into the nonexistent category...  I've got to get back into a groove with digital. What sucks is that I never have been able to get a rhythm when it comes to digital painting... I got a nice Wacom Cintiq, and Corel Painter & Photoshop, but no matter how much I try, I haven't been able to come close to pulling off the same things with them as I do with my more conventional brushes & paints. I need a good set of tuts, aimed at helping me ramp up my digital painting skills... anyone got any suggestions?
